Preciosa a.s.
The Preciosa trademark was registered in 1915. Surprisingly enough, the company approximated its current organisation and image immediately after the end of WW2 when several small factories and plants were merged. At that time, this measure was viewed as quite odd in this region; perhaps, it was this step that helped us to get ahead of our time.
Its fruits began to show as early as the 1960’s. Thanks to its versatility, a broader research base and greater business opportunities, Preciosa became a leading contractor for the global fashion jewellery making industry.
In the early 1990’s, the originally state-owned company got back in private hands and its production portfolio was expanded with further branches; at that time, however, the change was intentional and pursued a clear objective: to become a top-quality leader and prosperous business. This philosophy predetermines what we offer – i.e. keeping favourable prices while preserving all that this region endowed us with thanks to its history and traditions: quality, skills, reliability, and innovation.
